Having visited Amendoeira on regular occasion for the previous 10 years prior to purchasing an apartment, it was the natural choice. We have a passion for golf and good living. The golf course is absolutely stunning and in super condition all year. We have witnessed the resort develop, and slowly but carefully expand into the stunning, quiet and restful resort we love today. The buying process was straight forward with support and guidance from the sales team at Amendoeira. We could not recommend this resort highly enough, the staff too make it a great place to keeping returning too.

After an exhaustive search of the Algarve, we came across Algarve’s “Best Kept Secret” (…) Amendoeira. The long sweeping drive into Amendoeira had the “wow factor” immediately. Meeting the welcoming, professional sales staff with their unpressured sales approach was a breath-of-fresh air after our previous experiences. We had high expectations on visiting the properties and were not disappointed. The spaciousness, superior build quality coupled with the modern fixtures and fittings was the best we had observed, absolutely first class.

Viewing the Sports and Leisure activities available on the resort sealed the deal. Everything was of a very high standard. With the sales team’s extensive knowledge of the Algarve and their commitment to after sales support, we had no hesitation in buying immediately and never once regretted our decision.

We are living in Paradise. Quiet and calm, in the middle of nature. We are surrounded by stunning views as far as the Monchique Mountains. Amendoeira is placed right in the middle of the Algarve, a few minutes from the motorway, 40 minutes from the airport and only 6 minutes to the beach and a variety of shops. All the staff on the resort are always so helpful and friendly and can never do enough to help you.

This is a fantastic place to live. A quiet, peaceful paradise that is truly breathtaking.

P.S. It is also one of the very rare places in the Algarve with super-fast broadband, which is a must for everyday use, and keeping in touch with family and friends back home.

As an average golfer, I fell in love with the Algarve during my first trip to Portugal and immediate desire for a second / vacation home became apparent. The Amendoeira marketing team were quite professional and supportive throughout the buying process. The whole family love the serene golf environment and well-designed apartments. We have not missed our yearly vacation at the Amendoeira since we became owners 2 years ago. The two golf courses are very nice and well maintained at all times and with reasonable discount offers for the Owners.

In June 2016, during the 10 days of our holiday stay in this region, we looked at some properties that were for sale. None of the properties convinced us, partly because of the architecture or other circumstances. Actually, I did not want to look at any more objects, because the real estate brochures did not correspond to what was written.

At my wife's insistence I agreed to still visit the Amendoeira Golf Resort. I was already impressed when entering the resort. After some viewings, Dawn, showed us the Villa, which immediately convinced us when we entered.

Even today after three years there is still no day of regret. We love this resort. The advantage for us is that we don't have to worry about the maintenance of the property, the garden and the pool. A phone call or an e-mail is enough and any repairs will be done within a reasonable period of time.

We would like to emphasize that the whole resort team is very obliging and always very friendly. In general, I have noticed that the Portuguese are a very friendly, helpful and not pushy people. With this in mind we would like to enjoy many more years here.

We are so pleased with our purchase of a property at Amendoeiras Golf Resort and we try to visit at every available opportunity.  We love making the most of what the resort has to offer, such as playing tennis, football on the 5 aside astroturf, nine-hole golf course, running and cycling in the large resort grounds with cycle/running paths and the two large swimming pools which our kids love. There is also a large gym and pilates classes on offer. The staff are always very helpful and friendly and the restaurant offers great quality food.  We have discovered lots of beautiful beaches and there are many excellent restaurants in the surrounding areas.
